I'll also be telling you about how Canadians speak, believe it or not. Oh, and no, Canadians don't live in igloos. Canadians do indeed say "eh". It is similar to the American "huh" but has more uses. For example, Joe is telling Bob all about Paul Kariya's awesome triple overtime goal last night. Bob, in return, says, "eh?" Joe will then realize that either Bob: 1) didn't hear him 2) didn't understand him 3) wants more information 4) thinks Joe's statement is interesting and is encouraging Joe to continue.
