Chess Club

Votes:0
Floresville Elementary Chess Club Chess Club meets each Thursday afternoon in the Elementary School cafeteria from 3:25 until 4:30. We begin with a lecture from the chess master, Howard Berger. Students then check the pairings list to find who they will be playing in their tournament game. Participation in Chess club depends upon behavior, attendance and ability. We expect that students will know the basic rules of chess and how the pieces move before they join. It is very important that someone be at the school promptly at 4:30 to pick up the chess players. We try to have them ready to go, but on occasion, a tournament game may last beyond that time, so we ask for your patience. Feel free to check in the cafeteria to see if that is why your student may be late. Administration Elementary H Read More
